COLLATERAL EVENT

Simulation of industrial automation and manufacturing systems

These presentations are not available

The digitalization of European manufacturing sectors has accelerated in recent years, also as a result of various public and private initiatives. Consequently, OEMs and integrators of industrial automation and manufacturing systems are moving from traditional machine and systems design to a commissioning and operational approach to smart manufacturing. Innovative simulation methods and technologies support this transition.

The "Simulation of Industrial automation and manufacturing systems” event aims to present the approaches, methods and technologies for modeling manufacturing systems, including those for:

  • performance evaluation and optimization of manufacturing systems

  • production planning and scheduling

  • integrated design and virtual commissioning

  • production monitoring and control

  • the digital twin at the machine and manufacturing system levels
